The Education Ministry is responsible for all educational components of Holy Cross MCC. Everything from Children’s Sunday school to workshops and seminars for adults. Volunteers are always needed to assist with Sunday school, Youth group or teach the various workshops and Bible Studies. If you are interested or if you have any suggestions, please contact Gloria or Martha
► Children’s Sunday school
This is held from 10:00 am to 10:50 am on Sunday mornings for children 4-9 years of age in the Sunday school room just inside the front door on the right. We read bible stories, discuss the story, have music, and activities. The children are returned to their families during the offertory so they can all go to communion together.
Parents: Please have the children in the room by 10:00 am. To avoid disruptions, if the door is already closed, please take your child(ren) to church with you. Thank you very much.
► Youth Ministry
This ministry is for our teens ages 10 and up. They meet in the Musical Library room across from Pastor Sandy's office from 10:00 am to 10:50 am on Sunday mornings. They will rejoin the family during offertory so they can all go to communion together. If you have any questions, contact our Education Ministers, Gloria & Martha.
► Workshops
Anyone interested in teaching a workshop of any kind please let us know. We will consider anything from Bible Study to budgeting, car repairs to home repairs. We are here to educate the people. Below are two workshops we are in the process of scheduling. Please let us know if you are interested in attending by sending us an email.
Homosexuality and the Bible
This will be taught by Daisy. We are in the process of re-scheduling this bible study. For now, some interesting links can be found by clicking here.
Financially Faithful and Abundantly Blessed
This is three – two hour sessions taught by Val. We are currently scheduling this series. Please let us know if you are interested in attending. This is a wonderful workshop on tithing and how you are rewarded. The more you give the more you receive. It is all God’s money; we are just the treasurer and decide how to spend it wisely.
